Stand, Sit Down, Turn Around

This is a terrific evaluation game for shapes, angles and more.

1) Draw the various shapes on the board.

2) Indicate each shape and say its name.

3) Trainees duplicate the shape's name.

4) State the incorrect name for some shapes.

5) When you state the incorrect name trainees must stand up, take a seat and turn around at their desks as fast as they can.

6) The side that does this the fastest understands.

7) Play till the class seems confident naming the shapes.

If you have some slower kids simply select somebody from each side to play rock, paper, scissors for the point to prevent humiliating a sluggish student that is last every time. This is a terrific video game to get kids moving and to evaluate terms.

Draw the Instructor

This is an enjoyable video game particularly for more youthful students.

1) Draw 2 blank bodies on the board.

2) Have two students address a concern.

2) Trainees come and respond to to the board to draw a body part.

3) The group with the craziest looking teacher wins the video game.

4) I generally tell them which body part to draw.

If you wish to extend the video game make the trainees draw things like earrings, facial hair, hats, t-shirt logo designs and so on.

3D Tic-Tac-Toe

This is a fun review video game that involves everyone.

1) Draw 3 blank tic-tac-toe boards on the board.

2) Divide the class into two groups.

3) Choose two trainees and ask them both a concern.

4) Students respond to the questions then concern the board.

5) With the help of their team trainees select where to put their X or O.

6) The group with the most lines at the end of the video game wins.

If you want to extend the game include more tic-tac-toe boards.
